Jewellery Care Guide
An Important message for storing your jewellery in the warmer summer months...
We recommend storing your jewellery out and away from the pouch to ensure airflow. Store your pieces in a bowl, or in the box with the lid off to avoid the oxidisation process.
Protect items from water, humidity, steam and chemicals.
Tarnishing & discolouration is caused by the oxidization process which occurs when metal is in contact with air and acids through handling & moisture.
Take your jewellery off prior to exercise, showering, washing your hands and swimming. Saltwater is the enemy.
Avoid contact with cosmetics, hair products and perfume.
The polishing cloth should never be laundered since that will remove the polishers that are impregnated within the cloth can be reused many times even after it turns black. We suggest you purchase a new cloth only when you see it no longer shines your jewellery.
Store your jewellery in the box provided and in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight.
Gently wipe pearls with a soft cloth to remove body oils or dirt before storing and keep away from objects that may scratch the surface.
All metals will naturally soften, fade and oxidise with time and will require maintenance.
